Yes all this in the same day, August 28, 2007. You can imagine how exciting it was . First it was mom and dads anniversary. Mom forgot about it and dad remembered. That is not how things usually happen around here. Can you believe it.....Mom forgot. Well, I am sure she well pay for it for a long time.
Next, Dad got his promotion from work. You know what that means..............
MOOOOOORE toys for me. I am sure that is the first thing on mom and dads list of things to buy. How exciting. I can't wait to eat my new toys.
So to celebrate all the exciting things that happened today we went to eat at Outback. That was really my first real
restaurant with just mom and dad. We usually go eat fast food. I can't imagine why they wouldn't want to pack the whole house
every time we go out to eat. You know I have to have lots of toys to keep my attention and then I need bottles, wipes, diapers, baby water, formula, a cover for my highchair, extra clothes, burp rags and anything else mom can throw in her purse to keep me happy. I still don't understand why we don't go to nice
restaurants more often, do you? At any given time you can find my toys, or a bottle, or a baby spoon, etc. etc. in moms purse. If you haven't noticed her purse has gotten bigger. I guess my diaper bag won't hold everything I need. And then on Aug. 31, 2007 I turned 7 months. So needless to say I have had some very exciting things happen in the last 7 months, especially this last week. Mom will post some pictures from this past weekend tomorrow. She is very tired because I decided not to go to bed until 10:00 pm tonight.
I think Mom and Dad try to trick me in to going to sleep. It seems like everytime I lay in their arms and they feed me I wake up in my bed all by myself. So I have decided to take this matter into my own hands. I am not going to lay how they want me to. I will not take my bottle unless they let me lay the way I want. (and I get to watch TV) Again, don't tell mom.
For anyone that hasn't figured this out yet, take it from me, it's a trick. 
Mom and Dad keep trying to get me to hold my bottle. Don't tell them, but if they will hold it why should I? Sounds a little crazy to me. So I held it for a few minutes just to keep them off my back, but this is not going to become a habit.
It is so much more comfortable and enjoyable when someone else feeds me.
Mom has been reading Green Eggs and Ham and the moral to that story is if I try it I might like it. So I did just that. It's a little hard, but not to bad
.
That DVR you see on the second shelf, I think I am going to eat it. If I can get to it before mom catches me it's all mine. I try and try to make it to the DVR and mom keeps taking me to the other side of the room. Not FAIR. I think if I make it then I get to eat it. By the way mom it's a little dusty down here.
This was the best nap I have ever had. I think it was a pretty good nap for dad too. Dad keeps telling me "this is the life".
Me and Nana playing with my new toy. Mom and Dad bought me an ark with animals in it. The ark plays songs while I eat the animals.
Mom is flying me around like an airplane. We had lots of fun.

Dad is feeding me, but I won't let him hold me close to him because he tries to trick me into going to sleep. 
Me and Pots after my nap. Pots comes to visit every Thursday while Nana teaches at UNT.
