Valentine's Day 2008

I spent all day picking these "flowers" for mom.

These are the ballons dad bought mom, but Igot to play with them for days. Dad bought me some candy for Valentine's Day.

More Birthday Pictures

Thanks everyone for all the presents, but most importantly thanks for spending this day with me and making it so special. I will remember this next year so don't forget, same place, same time. I love you.

I Can't Believe my baby is ONE

Just getting started

This is good cake. I had my own cake to myself.

It doesn't get better than this.

Thanks dad for the extra help with the icing.

My favorite baths are in the kitchen sink.

Almost clean again, until next weekend.

Special visitors. Thanks Nana and Pots for stopping by. Mom planned it just right when she had me on a Wednesday. That way my first birthday would be on a Thursday when you would be in town. I am sure mom did that on purpose.

We had so much fun at my party. Thanks everyone for coming and spending my first birthday with me. Thanks for all the gifts, but mostly thanks for being there to share all the special moments. Same time same place next year. Thanks again.

Side note from mom: I took Brennen to the doctor today and he tested positive for the flu. I just wanted to let everyone know that was at the party last night. I am very sorry. The doctor said it would take 5-6 days for him to get over this, but it would only take 1-2 days for anyone that got it from him to feel the symptoms. Thanks again for coming and spending this very special time with us. We love you all.

Almost One

Finally Mom and Dad turned my seat around. 5 days before my birthday and 26 pounds later mom gave in and let me finally see the world and not just the leather seats. I love being able to see when we are driving. That leather seat was getting old and now mom can hand me my food instead of shoving it in from behind my head.

We got to go to the park on Sunday. The weather was so nice. I went down the slide with dad.

I played with mom on some of the other toys but....

my favorite thing to do was play in the dirt and wood chips. I can't imagine that God would have put this dirt and these wood chips out here for any other reason than for me to eat them.

No I did not go down the slide head first, but i crawled on the slide to get a better view of what I was fixing to put in my mouth. Yes....I got a wood chip in my mouth before mom could stop me, but she did this mom pinch on my jaws and got the wood chip out before I could swallow it. I thought maybe I could grow a tree in my stomach, but mom wouldn't let me. I thought about the famous phrase from my cousin, "Isn't the park where a kid can be a kid." I know it was something like that. Needless to say there will be no trees growing in my stomach, but I know I got a little bit of dirt down before she could get that out. Maybe next time mom.

Christmas Again

So for New Years we went to Burk to have Christmas with mom's side of the family. I told mom I thought I needed more toys and boy did I get more toys. I got a red wagon and a Texas rocking chair. You can see in the pictures below we had a lot of fun. Thanks for all the great gifts and the fun time we had. I know this is going to be the best year yet. I love you.

Christmas

We spent Christmas this year with dad's side of the family. Grandpa stayed with us for several days and Grandma, Bridget, and Brnadon came over for Christmas lunch and presents. I got so many presents mom says we don't have enough room for them all. The living room has some furniture, but mainly it is covered with all my toys. I just wanted to say tahnks to everyone for all the great gifts and fun we had. I love you.
